SUE

Sue is a retired detection canine from the Bureau of Indian Affairs. She worked for the BIA in North Dakota from 2010 until 2014 when she was retired due to hip dysplasia. Sue was adopted by a her handler’s coworker after she retired, and immediately became part of the family.

At the end of July of 2016, Sue collapsed at home and needed to be rushed to the emergency vet’s office where she needed immediate care due to heat exhaustion. It was also discovered that Sue had an enlarged heart.

We are happy to say that after two days at the vet’s office, Sue recovered fully and is expected to do very well.

We at Retired Paws were glad we could pay for her medical bills.
