MACHO-A

Macho-A is a retired detection canine from the United States Border Patrol. Macho has been enjoying the past few months of retirement living in southern Arizona with his handler. Unfortunately, on August 15, 2014, Macho was bitten by a diamondback rattlesnake while he was in his yard. He was rushed to the emergency vet’s office to be treated. The venom was already having devastating effects on Macho. He needed three vials of anti-venom to fully recover. We are very glad to say that Macho is doing much better and is at home relaxing. His vet bill was close to $4,000.00. We at Retired Paws were very happy to assist in paying for his medical care. Thank you to all our generous donors who make this possible.
