Heidi

Heidi is a retired detection canine from the United States Border Patrol. She served her country for 6 years in Yuma, Arizona. Sadly, Heidi was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer and her handler made the very hard decision to not let her suffer any longer. Heidi was a sweetheart, a fantastic detection canine, and part of the family. She will be greatly missed.

Retired Paws hates when our four-legged heroes have to venture over the Rainbow Bridge, but we know she is pain free and chasing plenty of rabbits on the other side.

Retired Paws was able to pay Heidi’s medical bills.
